Canyon Lake, Texas, is located at 29°51?42?N 98°11?52?W? / ?29.86176°N 98.19776°W? / 29.86176; -98.19776. It is located adjacent to Canyon Lake, from which it gets its name. It is located about 20 miles north-by-northwest of New Braunfels and about 40 miles north-by-northeast of Downtown San Antonio.
