How to schedule a drug test in Texas

You must register for the test prior to proceeding to the testing center.

A donor pass/registration form with the local testing center address, hours of operation and instructions will be sent to the e-mail address you provided. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Texas has been on the up and up on having on the lowest rates of drug overdose deaths that are related to opioids as of 2017. With the national average running at a rate of 14.6 deaths per 100,000 persons, Texas steered low with only have a rate of 5.1 deaths per 100,000 persons. However, the deaths that were related to opioids almost always involved synthetic opioids such as fentanyl or heroin. In fact, between 2007 and 2017 deaths that involved fentanyl nearly tripled from 118 deaths to 348 deaths, while deaths involving heroin more than doubled in the same time frame from 214 to 569.
