Yardville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Hamilton Township, in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,945. Before the 2010 Census, the area was part of the Yardville-Groveville CDP, which was split into two CDPs, Yardville and Groveville.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 4.074 square miles (10.551 km2), including 4.051 square miles (10.492 km2) of land and 0.023 square miles (0.059 km2) of water (0.56%).
As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 7,186 people, 2,757 households, and 2,048.451 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,773.9 per square mile (684.9/km2). There were 2,841 housing units at an average density of 701.3 per square mile (270.8/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.93% (6,678) White, 2.80% (201) Black or African American, 0.07% (5) Native American, 2.34% (168) Asian, 0.00% (0) Pacific Islander, 1.00% (72) from other races, and 0.86% (62) from two or more races.
