Isabel is a city in Barber County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 90.
Isabel was founded in 1887. Isabel was named for the daughter of a surveyor.
Isabel is located at 37°28?7?N 98°33?5?W? / ?37.46861°N 98.55139°W? / 37.46861; -98.55139 (37.468706, -98.551325). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.25 square miles (0.65 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 90 people, 40 households, and 23 families residing in the city. The population density was 360.0 inhabitants per square mile (139.0/km2). There were 47 housing units at an average density of 188.0 per square mile (72.6/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 96.7% White, 2.2% from other races, and 1.1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.4% of the population.
