Yale is a city in Guthrie County, Iowa, United States. The population was 246 in the 2010 census, a decline from 287 in 2000 census. It is part of the Des Moines–West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As of the census of 2010, there were 246 people, 113 households, and 68 families residing in the city. The population density was 901.1 inhabitants per square mile (347.9/km2). There were 129 housing units at an average density of 472.5 per square mile (182.4/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 98.8% White, 0.4% African American, 0.4% Native American, and 0.4% from two or more races.
