Winn is a town in Penobscot County, Maine, United States, on the east bank of the Penobscot River. The town was named for John M. Winn, an early landholder. The population was 407 at the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 43.84 square miles (113.55 km2), of which, 43.70 square miles (113.18 km2) of it is land and 0.14 square miles (0.36 km2) is water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 407 people, 175 households, and 122 families residing in the town. The population density was 9.3 inhabitants per square mile (3.6/km2). There were 210 housing units at an average density of 4.8 per square mile (1.9/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 98.3% White, 0.2% African American, and 1.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.2% of the population.
