McIntosh is a town in Marion County, Florida, United States. As of the 2000 census, the town population was 453. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 486 . It is part of the Ocala Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As of the census of 2000, there were 453 people, 227 households, and 133 families residing in the town. The population density was 650.8 inhabitants per square mile (249.9/km²).
