Anderson is a city in McDonald County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,961 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fayetteville–Springdale–Rogers, AR–MO Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As of the census of 2010, there were 1,961 people, 715 households, and 486 families residing in the city. The population density was 951.9 inhabitants per square mile (367.5/km2). There were 843 housing units at an average density of 409.2 per square mile (158.0/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 85.8% White, 0.4% African American, 4.8% Native American, 0.6% Asian, 0.5% Pacific Islander, 4.9% from other races, and 2.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.7% of the population.
