The racial makeup of the town was 98.68% White, 0.18% Black or African American, 0.53% Native American, 0.09% Asian, 0.09% from other races, and 0.44% from two or more races. 2.38% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 391 households out of which 39.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.8% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.3% were non-families. 17.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
