According to the 2010 census, Percy has a total area of 0.933 square miles (2.42 km2), of which 0.93 square miles (2.41 km2) (or 99.68%) is land and 0.003 square miles (0.01 km2) (or 0.32%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 942 people, 387 households, and 250 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,070.6 people per square mile (413.3/km²). There were 431 housing units at an average density of 489.8 per square mile (189.1/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.94% White, 0.21% African American, 0.21% Native American, 0.32% from other races, and 0.32% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.23% of the population.
There were 387 households out of which 28.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.9% were married couples living together, 10.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.4% were non-families. 30.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.33 and the average family size was 2.89.
