Leonie Boutall, who relocated to Arizona from Tennessee, decided to build a guest ranch in the early 1930s. The dry climate, her doctor told her, would relieve her bronchial troubles. Boutall bought 100 acres (0.40 km2) of former ranch land just west of North Oracle Road, and south of a narrow dirt track now called Orange Grove Road. She built Rancho Nezhone, a luxury guest ranch that drew the rich and famous to the sparsely settled area far north of Tucson. Kate Smith, Liberace, Gen. John Pershing and William "Hopalong Cassidy" Boyd were guests of the desert retreat which featured lush vegetation with monkeys and parrots. Boutall sold out of the property in 1948. Today the site is home to Mission Palms Apartments, where much of the original flora and several features remain, including a 300-stone wall in front of the property.

Selecting the Right Drug Testing Panel

Drug screening panels vary based on the number of substances tested, with the 5, 10, and 12-panel tests being most common. We also offer customized panels to suit specific requirements.

Understanding Drug Tests

A drug test analyzes a biological specimen such as urine, hair, blood, breath, sweat, or saliva for specific drugs or their metabolites. Drug tests are used for various applications, including sports, workplace screenings, and law enforcement alcohol tests. Breathalyzer tests measure blood alcohol content (BAC), while urinalysis is widely employed for testing in sports and work environments. Several different testing methods exist, each with varying accuracy and detection sensitivity.

Does Passive Smoke Result in a Marijuana False Positive?

Being in a room with others smoking marijuana is unlikely to result in a positive drug test, as cutoff levels for lab analysis are set higher than what passive inhalation could produce.

Other irregularities in urine tests can imply false negatives or tampering. For example:

  • Low creatinine could suggest dilution, either by excessive fluid intake or by adding water to the sample.
  • Creatinine levels and specific gravity are used to verify if samples are diluted. Testing labs may color toilet water blue to prevent dilution with toilet water.
  • Certain enzymes added to urine may impact its stability and change the pH, which is tested for verification.

Drug Elimination Timelines

The detection period of drugs in your system depends on several factors such as:

  • The drug quantity taken
  • The frequency of use
  • The type of drug
  • The individual’s metabolic rate and health condition
  • The volume of fluids consumed post-ingestion
  • Physical activity after ingestion
  • Genetic differences influencing drug metabolism
