Vandervoort is a town in Polk County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 120 at the 2000 census. The place is named in honor of the mother of an important early-20th-century railway financier, Jan de Goeijen. Her maiden name was Van der Voort.

Vandervoort is located at 34°22?47?N 94°21?53?W? / ?34.37972°N 94.36472°W? / 34.37972; -94.36472 (34.379737, -94.364666).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.7 km² (0.3 mi²), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 120 people, 42 households, and 30 families residing in the town. The population density was 165.5/km² (428.2/mi²). There were 48 housing units at an average density of 66.2/km² (171.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 87.50% White, 5.00% Black or African American, 1.67% Native American, 4.17% from other races, and 1.67% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.00% of the population.
