Ivey is a town in Wilkinson County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,100 at the 2000 census.

The community was named after James Ivey. The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Ivey in 1950.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.8 km2), of which 2.6 square miles (6.7 km2) is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km2) (14.09%) is water.
