Ferris is a village in Hancock County, Illinois, United States. The population was 156 at the 2010 census.

Ferris is located in north-central Hancock County at 40°28?8?N 91°10?10?W? / ?40.46889°N 91.16944°W? / 40.46889; -91.16944 (40.468753, -91.169448). It is 5 miles (8 km) north of Carthage, the county seat.

According to the 2010 census, Ferris has a total area of 1.97 square miles (5.10 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 168 people, 69 households, and 44 families residing in the village. The population density was 85.8 people per square mile (33.1/km²). There were 72 housing units at an average density of 36.8 per square mile (14.2/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.62% White, 0.60% African American, and 1.79% from two or more races.
