Deer Grove is located at 41°36?28?N 89°41?30?W? / ?41.60778°N 89.69167°W? / 41.60778; -89.69167 (41.607822, -89.691534).

According to the 2010 census, Deer Grove has a total area of 0.46 square miles (1.19 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 48 people, 21 households, and 12 families residing in the village. The population density was 105.3 people per square mile (40.3/km²).
