As of the census of 2000, there were 237 people, 91 households, and 71 families residing in the borough. The population density was 67.8 people per square mile (26.2/km²). There were 106 housing units at an average density of 30.3 per square mile (11.7/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 97.05% White, and 2.95% Asian.

There were 91 households out of which 24.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.9% were married couples living together, 6.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.9% were non-families. 17.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.60 and the average family size was 2.85.

In the borough the population was spread out with 21.5% under the age of 18, 5.5% from 18 to 24, 30.4% from 25 to 44, 24.9% from 45 to 64, and 17.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
