As of the census of 2000, 386 people, 167 households, and 101 families were residing in the village. The population density was 357.5 people per square mile (138.0/km²). The 179 housing units were at an average density of 165.8 per square mile (64.0/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.22% White, 0.26% African American and 0.52% Native American.

Of the 167 households, 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.5% were married couples living together, 8.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.5% were non-families. 37.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.31 and the average family size was 3.06.

In the village, the population was spread out with 25.4% under the age of 18, 9.1% from 18 to 24, 26.9% from 25 to 44, 21.2% from 45 to 64, and 17.4% who were 65 years of age or older.
