Ackworth is a city in Warren County, Iowa, United States. The population was 83 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Des MoinesWest Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Ackworth was laid out in 1874. The settlement experienced growth in 1878 when the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad was built through it. Ackworth was incorporated in 1881.
