Local Area Info: Nashotah, Wisconsin
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.70 square miles (4.40 km2), of which, 1.67 square miles (4.33 km2) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 km2) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 1,395 people, 517 households, and 400 families residing in the village. The population density was 835.3 inhabitants per square mile (322.5/km2). There were 541 housing units at an average density of 324.0 per square mile (125.1/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 96.6% White, 0.1% African American, 0.5% Native American, 1.4% Asian, 0.1% from other races, and 1.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.4% of the population.
There were 517 households of which 39.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.9% were married couples living together, 6.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 2.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 22.6% were non-families. 19.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.70 and the average family size was 3.12.
