Lyon (UK: /?li???/, US: /?ljo?n, li?o?n/, traditionally spelled in English Lyons and in this case alternatively pronounced /?la??nz/; French: Lyon [lj??] (listen); Arpitan: Liyon [?j??]) is the third-largest city and second-largest urban area of France.
