East Dunseith is a census-designated place (CDP) in Rolette County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 500 at the 2010 census.

East Dunseith is located at 48°51?38?N 100°1?4?W? / ?48.86056°N 100.01778°W? / 48.86056; -100.01778 (48.860501, -100.017869).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.2 square miles (13 km2), of which 5.1 square miles (13 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) (1.52%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 219 people, 59 households, and 50 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 181.7 people per square mile (70.5/km²). There were 60 housing units at an average density of 49.8/sq mi (19.3/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 3.20% White and 96.80% Native American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.37% of the population.
