IFDAT CONFERENCE 2024

The IFDAT 2024 Conference was an amazing time of being able to engage with others in the drug testing industry from all over the world, listening to some of the most innovative ideas while coming together to discuss how like-minded individuals are doing their part to keep safety at the forefront of all we do no matter what our geographical location is. 

The conference was kicked off with an evening welcome reception overlooking the harbor and sponsored by NDASA with a speech from the Chairman of NDASA, James Greer. It was the perfect way to set the tone and be able to network and learn more about the individuals we would be spending the next couple of days with.

Day 1 did not disappoint with a warm welcome from IFDAT's Chairman Matt Taylor and Board Member Bon Idziak followed by a presentation by the Keynote Speaker, NDASA's Senior Policy, Executive Advisor, Patrice M. Kelly. Throughout the day we heard from industry leaders touching on everything from drug impaired driving to technology solutions to solve the dilemma of legal marijuana and virtual drug testing via video proctoring. The day ended with a dinner at Columbia Restaurant, which is the oldest restaurant in Florida located in historic Ybor City with a Flamenco Show! 

Day 2 had a wonderful start with a welcome from IFDAT's Board Member Sue Nolan, it was another day loaded with some amazing information with speakers from around the world presenting about oral fluid testing for THC in a legalized society, international testing guidelines/standards and a presentation from NDASA's Chairman, James Greer as well as many other topics. 

The conference closed with farewell drinks served at the Sail Plaza overlooking the water. The conference was a great time of partnering together and finding ways to help each other accomplish common goals in the drug testing and alcohol testing industry around the world!
