As of the census of 2000, there were 230 people, 89 households, and 70 families residing in the town. The population density was 646.9 people per square mile (246.7/km²). There were 94 housing units at an average density of 264.4 per square mile (100.8/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 96.52% White, 1.30% African American, 2.17% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.17% of the population.

There were 89 households out of which 37.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.6% were married couples living together, 14.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.3% were non-families. 16.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 2.91.

In the town, the population was spread out with 25.7% under the age of 18, 14.8% from 18 to 24, 24.3% from 25 to 44, 28.7% from 45 to 64, and 6.5% who were 65 years of age or older.
