Poulan is a city in Worth County, Georgia, United States. The population was 946 at the 2000 census. It was settled circa 1877, and was located along the Brunswick and Albany railroad. The city was named for Judge W.A. Poulan.

Poulan is notorious for its police department's speed trap tactics along six miles of U.S. Route 82. In 2009 Poulan's small police force generated nearly $900,000 in fines and fees, a number comparable to a city 30 times its size and due to the charges and fees being more than most cities. As of the census of 2000, there were 946 people, 365 households, and 273 families residing in the city. The population density was 571.2 people per square mile (220.0/km²).
