The racial makeup of the CDP was 82.80% White, 0.70% Black or African American, 1.40% Native American, 0.40% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 11.9% from other races, and 2.80% from two or more races. 24.30% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 1,420 households out of which 27.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% were married couples living together, 7.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.90% were non-families. 20.20% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.73 and the average family size was 3.14.
