Melbourne is a city in Izard County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,848 at the 2010 census. The town is the county seat of Izard County, and home to the main campus of Ozarka College. The city is not to be confused with the Australia city, Melbourne, Victoria.
As of the census of 2010, there were 1,848 people, 787 households, and 476 families residing in the city. The population density was 268.0 people per square mile (103.5/km²).
