There were 202 housing units at an average density of 202.5 per square mile (78.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 52.07% White, 47.49% African American, 0.22% Native American, and 0.22% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.22% of the population.

The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 3.04.

In the town, the population was spread out with 24.4% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 25.1% from 25 to 44, 24.0% from 45 to 64, and 18.3% who were 65 years of age or older.
