Kangley is a village in LaSalle County, Illinois, United States. The population was 287 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Ottawa–Streator Micropolitan Statistical Area. It is a part of the geographic region known as Streatorland.
As of the census of 2000, there were 287 people, 115 households, and 81 families residing in the village. The population density was 849.5 people per square mile (325.9/km²). There were 119 housing units at an average density of 352.2 per square mile (135.1/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.61% White, 0.35% Native American, 0.35% from other races, and 0.70% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.74% of the population.
There were 115 households out of which 27.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.9% were married couples living together, 10.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.7% were non-families. 27.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
