The racial makeup of the town was 95.9% White, 1.1% African American, 1.9% Native American, 0.7% from other races, and 0.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.1% of the population.

The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 2.75.
