Black Hawk (sometimes Blackhawk) is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) in Meade County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 2,892 at the 2010 census. Black Hawk has been assigned the ZIP code of 57718. Located along Interstate 90, Black Hawk is part of the Rapid City metropolitan area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2), all land. Black Hawk is located north of Box Elder Creek, west of Interstate 90, south of the City of Summerset, and east of the Black Hills National Forest.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2,432 people, 847 households, and 665 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,119.8 people per square mile (432.7/km²). There were 871 housing units at an average density of 401.1 per square mile (155.0/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 94.86% White, 0.29% African American, 2.75% Native American, 0.21% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.04% from other races, and 1.81% from two or more races.
