As of the census of 2010, there were 737 people, 295 households, and 200 families residing in the city. The population density was 376.0 inhabitants per square mile (145.2/km2). There were 367 housing units at an average density of 187.2 per square mile (72.3/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 96.20% White, 2.17% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.14% from other races, and 1.36% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.90% of the population.

There were 295 households of which 29.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.8% were married couples living together, 13.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 8.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.2% were non-families. 25.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
