Gazelle is a census-designated place (CDP) in Siskiyou County, California, United States. The population was 70 at the 2010 census, down from 136 at the 2000 census.

The name of a small African antelope, was given to the post office in 1870. In the 1850s a steamer Gazelle plied the waters between San Francisco and the upper Sacramento River.
