Cormorant Township is a township in Becker County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,039 as of the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.3 square miles (93.9 km2), of which 26.3 square miles (68.2 km2) is land and 9.9 square miles (25.7 km2), or 27.40%, is water.

The township contains Cormorant Lutheran Cemetery.

As of the census of 2000, there were 965 people, 422 households, and 316 families residing in the township. The population density was 36.6 people per square mile (14.1/km²). There were 977 housing units at an average density of 37.1/sq mi (14.3/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.86% White, 0.21% African American, 0.10% Native American, 0.31% Asian, and 0.52% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.41% of the population.
