Bras d'Or Lake is the largest lake in Nova Scotia with an area of 1,099 km2 (424 sq mi). The tidal lake has a maximum length of 100 kilometres (62 mi), a maximum width of 50 kilometres (31 mi) and a maximum depth of 287 m (942 ft).
