Sadler is located in western Grayson County at 33°40?53?N 96°50?47?W? / ?33.68139°N 96.84639°W? / 33.68139; -96.84639 (33.681387, -96.846321). The U.S. Route 82 freeway runs through the southern part of the city, leading east 17 miles (27 km) to Sherman, the county seat, and west 5 miles (8 km) to Whitesboro.
