Evening Shade is a city in Sharp County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 432 at the 2010 census. The town was fictionalized in a television situation comedy starring Burt Reynolds entitled Evening Shade in the U.S.

As of the census of 2000, there were 465 people, 204 households, and 137 families residing in the town. The population density was 294.2 people per square mile (113.6/km²). There were 244 housing units at an average density of 154.4 per square mile (59.6/km²).
