Wilmington Manor is located at 39°41?12?N 75°35?04?W? / ?39.68667°N 75.58444°W? / 39.68667; -75.58444 (39.6867795, -75.5843695). It is just northwest of the city of New Castle and South of the City of Wilmington.
In 2010, Wilmington Manor had a population of 7,889 people. The racial makeup of the CDP was 68.6% White, 15.5% African American, 0.5% Native American, 1.1% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 11.4% from other races, and 3.0% from two or more races. 19.7% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
As of the census of 2000, there were 8,262 people, 3,040 households, and 2,173 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 5,088.2 people per square mile (1,969.1/km²). There were 3,173 housing units at an average density of 1,954.1 per square mile (756.2/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 79.33% White, 10.95% African American, 0.19% Native American, 0.85% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 6.69% from other races, and 1.92% from two or more races.
