Standing Pine is a census-designated place (CDP) in Leake County, Mississippi. It is one of the eight communities of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Reservation and the population is 82% Choctaw. The population was 509 at the 2000 census.

As of the census of 2000, there were 509 people, 135 households, and 112 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 158.8 people per square mile (61.2/km²). There were 143 housing units at an average density of 44.6/sq mi (17.2/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 16.11% White, 1.18% African American, 82.12% Native American, 0.59% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.18% of the population.

There were 135 households out of which 43.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.9% were married couples living together, 24.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.3% were non-families. 15.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.77 and the average family size was 4.04.
