According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.15 square miles (2.98 km2), of which 1.14 square miles (2.95 km2) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km2) is water. Minnesota State Highway 23 serves as a main route in the city, and U.S. Route 71 is nearby.
