Duquesne /dju??ke?n/ is a Fourth-Class City in Jasper County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,763 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Joplin, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census of 2010, there were 1,763 people, 781 households, and 493 families residing in the City. The population density was 953.0 inhabitants per square mile (368.0/km2). There were 856 housing units at an average density of 462.7 per square mile (178.6/km2). The racial makeup of the City was 91.9% White, 1.4% African American, 1.6% Native American, 1.7% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 0.9% from other races, and 2.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.3% of the population.

There were 781 households of which 27.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.4% were married couples living together, 11.8% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 36.9% were non-families. 30.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.26 and the average family size was 2.74.
