Hightsville is a census-designated place (CDP) in New Hanover County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 739 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Wilmington Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Hightsville is located at 3415?45?N 7755?49?W? / ?34.26250N 77.93028W? / 34.26250; -77.93028 (34.262596, -77.930359).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.1km2), all of it land.
